Tomorrow's Special: Cheerleader

Why I feel the need to draw Drakken and Shego as just about every character I start to like is beyond me. I saw the midnight showing of Sweeney Todd and am now completely obsessed xD. It was actually better than the musical in *some* ways, but I'm not gonna get into that.

Anyhow, here's Drakken dressed as Sweeney and Shego as Mrs. Lovett (the movie versions of them anyways, because putting Shego in those lil' hair buns Angela Lansbury has seemed a little too much like a death wish ). The characters actually have quite a bit in common if you get past the angst and personality quirks. Both Drakken and Sweeney have serious grudges against the rest of the world to the point of obsession (nevermind that only a handful of people actually did anything to them, they're going after the whole world!) Shego/Lovett both serve as accomplices and have seemingly no real motivation for what they do other than amorality's sake (and a little greed xP) And there's the fact that they both have romantic interests in their partners-in-crime See? It all works xD

All attempts to make Drakken look genuinely demonic and creepy failed utterly. He ended up coming out with this smug "finally I'm being portrayed as a Johnny Depp character" look, and I thought it was kinda funny and Drakken-ish so I kept it xP. Shego... looks like a random bar wench holding a pie well, I had to simplify the costume somewhat (okay, A LOT) gimmie a break!

yeah, I'm done ranting for now. *hits 'submit'* *runs off to listen to the soundtrack again*
